Comedian Munya Chawawa didn’t waste a moment in giving the public what they needed, in response to Storm Eunice making its way through the nation.

Friday saw the storm blast through the UK, after rare ‘danger to life’ red weather warnings were issued in London, the south-east and east of England, and South Wales.

Although they expired this afternoon, an amber warning remains in place as winds remain at record highs

But one person who was keen to calm the storm was Munya, who quickly put out a video posing as a UK weather presenter.

As expected, many broadcasters sent correspondents to the coast and other badly-affected parts of the country to show off the worst of Storm Eunice’s wraith.

The social media funny man, who’s become known for his spot-on and rapid reactions to some of the most iconic celeb moments, was even able to come up with a hilarious skit in a matter of hours.

Posting on his Instagram account, he shared the video with the caption: ‘British Weather Reporters vs. Storm Eunice.’

Coming out as one of his many aliases, he named himself, rather appropriately, Terry Ballweather.

He started off the clip by saying: ‘The Met Office advice is to not go outdoors, so that is exactly what we have done.

‘Experts are calling it Storm Eunice because it can blow your niece, nephew and entire family away in a matter of seconds.’

He’s not wrong about that, as clips were posted online earlier on Friday of members of the public being blown to the ground along Croydon High Street.

Later on, he got out his umbrella and said, deadly seriously: ‘Officials are warning not to open any umbrellas outdoors after an elderly woman was blown all the way to Uganda in the early hours of this morning.

‘But, we’re going to do it anyway,’ he added.

The rest of the minute-long video saw him struggle as he held onto trees for his life, and tried not to fly off into the air.

Stars including AJ Odudu and Ore Oduba quickly reacted, commenting a stream of laughing emojis next to the post.

it comes just days after he posted an iconic response to Rihanna’s pregnancy announcement.

While fans continue to be thrilled for her, some were left wondering how her ex Drake might be feeling.

And Munya’s reckoned poor Drake was left feeling a little down in the dumps as he posted a clip in the style of one of his raps.

We’re already buzzing for his next skit to drop.
