Harvey is determined to make amends (Picture: BBC)
With his racist son Aaron (Charlie Wernham) currently in prison for his part in numerous far-rights crimes and plots in EastEnders, it’s been left to Harvey Monroe (Ross Boatman) to face the judgement of his neighbours and friends in Albert Square.
Mitch (Roger Griffiths) and Patrick (Rudolph Walker) take the news particularly hard. Mitch asks Harvey if the stories circulating about Aaron are true and he has to admit that they are.
Later, as Keegan (Zack Morris) questions Harvey about Aaron, Mitch walks out.
With the shame of all of his neighbours knowing what Aaron did, Harvey sees no option but to cut all ties with his son. He visits Aaron in prison to tell him he won’t ever see him again.
When Jean (Gillian Wright) hears of this decision she’s upset, telling Harvey that he shouldn’t be abandoning his son no matter how bad his crimes have been.
Can Harvey find another way to make amends for the terrible racist crimes that Aaron has committed against the people of Walford?
