Coronation Street Spoilers: Sally’s Rage at Tim Over Elaine

Not the time! (Picture: ITV)

As Tim Metcalfe (Joe Duttine) recovers from his heart operation back in the comfort of Coronation Street, he unwittingly finds himself in the middle of a war zone.

He’s got both his mum Elaine (Paula Wilcox) and his wife Sally (Sally Dynevor) fussing over him and pandering to his every need, which is obviously ideal as far as Tim is concerned and he milks the situation as much as possible.

But how will Sally cope with Elaine fussing around and trying to anticipate Tim’s every need?

The last straw, for Sally, is when Elaine presents Tim with a bell to ring whenever he needs anything. With Tim able to summon assistance with a ding of his little bell, he’s having a great time.

Sally, however, is quietly seething at having another woman taking over her home and she can’t wait for Elaine’s visit to be over.

That’s when Tim informs her that Elaine is planning on staying until he’s fully recovered. Sally has to exercise every bit of self control not to explode on the spot.
